would like to invite you to our Farm Open Day on Sunday 21st of September 2014. 10am till 4pm at the Tamara Date Plantation via the Santa Teresa Road. 4WD Only Please!

Hats, boots n sunscreen
Water and other drinks.
Food (Gas BBQ provided)
Chairs
Fly Nets

What Not To Bring!

Fruit of any sort!
The farm has “Fruit Fly Free” status that enables us to send our produce all over Australia without chemical sprays. We wish to keep this status!

Beginnings and onward…

So much has happened to get to this point!

But we have finally formed Tamara Cooperative and we own the very special and spectacular Tamara Plantation. We even had a wee party to celebrate this new chapter in the history of the plantation a month or so ago. There will be more parties, working bees and general visits to be had over the coming months. Stay tuned!

Our next big job (aside from keeping the farm running) is to set up a company to take over the Desert Fruit Company. The Company will manage the business affairs of the plantation. It's in motion so hopefully we will have more celebrations soon plus more exciting updates in the world of desert living the way we all thought it might be.
